Accessibility Information

Across both Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring all guests and team members are treated with equality, dignity and respect, regardless of disability.

Eden Hall – Accessibility

At Eden Hall, the majority of facilities are accessible via corridors or ramps, with doorways designed to accommodate wheelchair access. A lift provides access to the first floor; however, please note that there are 14 steps leading to the second floor.

Accessible toilets are equipped with pull-cord assistance systems, and selected shower facilities include seating. With advance notice, our team can arrange more spacious dining areas to ensure comfort and ease of movement.

Treatment beds can be lowered to assist with access, although they cannot be adjusted fully to floor level. Upon arrival, every guest is provided with a personalised evacuation plan to ensure safety and reassurance throughout their visit.

Please note that Eden Hall does not currently have a pool hoist.

Hoar Cross Hall – Accessibility

As a Grade II listed building, Hoar Cross Hall combines historic character with significant modern investment to enhance accessibility wherever possible.

Several key spaces are conveniently located on the ground floor, including The Long Gallery and bar areas, The Library (home to Afternoon Tea and private dining), and the Joynes Suite, Sudbury and Tutbury Rooms. The Joynes Suite and Henry’s are also easily accessible from the Hotel Reception.

A lift provides access to the Spa Terraces, and the property offers dedicated on-site parking for guests.

Within the spa, the Saltwater Pool is equipped with a pool hoist.

Our experienced spa therapists are fully trained to adapt treatments to meet individual needs. This may include adjusting treatment positions (such as side-lying or seated), providing additional support with bolsters or pillows, or focusing on alternative areas such as the scalp, hands, arms or feet where appropriate. We recommend advising us in advance wherever possible, though adjustments can also be discussed with your therapist on the day.
