Spa Etiquette
General Conduct and Environment
In areas where "quiet signs" are visible, guests are required to keep noise to an absolute minimum.
Guests are asked not to reserve loungers while using other facilities. Storage areas are provided for robes, towels, and personal belongings to keep loungers free and possessions safe.
To prevent crowding, groups should avoid congregating in the same areas of the spa and should not use the same facilities all at the same time.
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the building. Designated sheltered areas are available outside for smokers.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol; drinks can be purchased directly from the on-site Vinery or bars.
Dress Code
Guests should not wear fancy dress or inappropriate accessories, and no decorations are permitted within the spa.
For casual dining at Hugo’s Spa Restaurant, guests are welcome and encouraged to keep their robes on during their meal.
While robes and towels are provided in lockers, flip-flops are a requirement for walking around the spa. If you do not bring your own, they are available for purchase for £7.95.
If you plan to use the gym or participate in fitness classes, you must bring a gym bag, trainers, and activewear.
Age Restrictions
The minimum age for using the spa facilities is 16 years old.
You must be 18 years or older to receive most treatments. The exception is the Parlour, where guests aged 16 and older can receive manicures and pedicures. Guests may be asked for photo identification to verify their age.
Bookings and Responsibility
The lead booker is responsible for ensuring that all guests in their party comply with the etiquette policy and for settling all charges incurred during the visit.
These are booked on the day of your visit at the Day Spa Reception and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is recommended to book additional treatments as far in advance as possible due to high demand. As noted in previous guidance, arriving late for a treatment may result in a deduction from your treatment time to avoid delaying other guests.
