What is the difference between a central and property-specific voucher?

The difference between a central (standard) voucher and a property-specific voucher lies in its flexibility and whether it is tied to a specific promotional experience.

Central Vouchers
These gift cards and e-vouchers are generally flexible across the Barons Eden brand.
They can be used at either Eden Hall or Hoar Cross Hall, regardless of which property they were originally purchased for.
They can be applied as part or full payment against the value of a reservation.

Property-Specific Vouchers
These are typically associated with limited-edition experiences, such as Black Friday offers like "Winter Sun" or "The Perfect Blackout".
During their promotional period (e.g., until 31st March), these vouchers are redeemable only against specific experiences at a chosen property.
Once the promotional period ends, the specific "experience" itself is no longer valid.
Following the expiry of the specific offer, these vouchers revert to their original monetary value and become redeemable at either property for the remainder of their 12-month validity.

All gift cards and vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed on the day of purchase.
Neither type can be used for membership payments, meetings, weddings, functions, or to purchase further gift cards.
